This recipe is my reaction to James Crockett, the host of Crocketts Victory Garden around PBS in the 1970s. Jim would raise leeks the size of baseball bats and brag about leek and potato soup. His power in teaching gardening inspired me to pursue a career in horticulture. This explanation of your soup is my admission to you.

The ingredient of Leek and Potato Chowder

  1. 3 leeks
