This is my Dads potato salad recipe. I have never seen it made this way, and whenever I allow a bowl of it somewhere it always leaves empty.

The ingredient of Buds Potato Salad

  1. 10 pounds potatoes
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 1 cup white wine vinegar
  4. 1 cup white sugar
  5. 2 onions, diced
  6. salt and pepper to taste
  7. 1 tablespoon celery seed
  8. 2 cups mayonnaise

The instruction how to make Buds Potato Salad

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until hurting but still firm, virtually 15 minutes. Drain and comply to cool.
  2. Slice cooled potatoes and lump bump in a large bowl or dish.
  3. In a saucepan include water, vinegar and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for one minute. separate from heat and pour greater than potatoes. Cover and chill for at least 12 hours.
  4. Drain excess marinade and go to onions, salt, pepper, celery seed and mayonnaise. mixture combination well and advance chilled.
