I recreated this recipe from some mashed potatoes I had at an Irish restaurant, but they afterward go serious afterward German dishes. You can tweak the amount of mustard to your taste.

  1. 5 red potatoes, scrubbed and halved
  2. 2 tablespoons butter
  3. u00bc cup milk
  4. salt and pepper to taste
  5. u00bc cup total grain mustard

The instruction how to make Mustard Mashed Potatoes

  1. Place the potatoes into a large pot and cover once salted water. Bring to a boil on top of higher than high heat, subsequently next cut heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and enter upon to steam dry for a minute or two. Mash potatoes in a large bowl afterward the butter and milk, and season behind salt and pepper.
